Digital TV Switchover

The Digital Switchover is the process of turning off the UK’s analogue TV signal and replacing it with a digital signal. This is government policy and will enable almost everyone in the country to receive digital TV as standard, through an aerial.

In the Ashfield District (the Central and Yorkshire broadcasting region), the analogue signal was switched off between April and September 2011.
