Digital TV Switchover

The Digital Switchover is the process of turning off the UK’s analogue TV signal and replacing it with a digital signal. This is government policy and will enable almost everyone in the country to receive digital TV as standard, through an aerial.

In the Ashfield District (the Central and Yorkshire broadcasting region), it is anticipated that the analogue signal will be switched off between April and September 2011.

However, certain properties, which currently receive an analogue free-to-air Virgin Media cable signal (formerly Diamond Cable), may find that this Virgin Media analogue service ends before this time (anticipated to be around December 2010).

For more information on how this may affect you, please contact our Repairs Call Centre on Tel - 0800 479 4999.
