Where significant works are proposed for your home, we will invite you to an Open Day, held locally to you, before any work starts, giving you the chance to meet us and also ask any questions you may have.

You will also be able to see the product ranges we offer and be able to make your own personal choices where options are provided.

After the Open Day we will be in touch with you by letter and personal visit before work starts.

On completion of the works, we will send you a tenant satisfaction questionnaire which asks you ten questions about the whole improvement process. This information is used to identify specific areas for improvement so that we can continually better our service to you.

In addition to this we attend various Tenants and Residents meetings to allow you to give us your thoughts, opinions and suggestions on the service we provide.

We have also produced a Tenants and Reidents Compact which sets out in detail our commitment to you, and provides very useful information about the major works and how tenants and residents will be affected.

The Compact was written in full consultation with tenants and residents groups and is reviewed periodically by a Compact Advisory Panel made up of Ashfield Homes/Ashfield District Council, our Construction Partner, councillors and Tenant Representatives.

The development and review of the Major Works Compact was facillitated by an independent advisory consultancy called Priority Estates Project.
