Salary: £13,735 - £15,309 Per Annum (30 hpw)
Description:
Providing a responsive 24hr emergency service, 365 days a year to over 2,500 vulnerable people, our Support Centre Service is a friendly and dedicated team, responsible for ensuring that some 3,500 calls every month are handled with care. Whether it’s a routine call or a serious emergency situation, you will need the essential skills to react immediately with positive, reassuring and comforting advice. We are currently looking for a valuable addition to our existing team. Flexible to work 30 hours per week on a rota system which will entail working outside of normal working hours,including nightshifts, at weekends and Bank Holidays, you’ll be able to think on your feet, using your common sense to contact the appropriate services for guidance and decide on a logical course of action. Educated with 3 GCSE passes (Grade A-C) or equivalent, you’ll need experience working within a supportive customer service environment and possess a sympathetic ear and calming nature.
