Delivering Excellent Housing Services
FAQ
What exactly is the Tenancy Support Service?

The Service is available to any tenant who feels they require some support, particularly vulnerable people, or anyone requiring help to sustain their tenancy.

A Tenancy Support Officer will assess your needs, and set up a Support Plan designed to meet your needs.

The aims of the Service are:

  • To offer a responsive support package to meet your needs.
  • To assist you to maximise welfare benefit entitlement, and to receive all appropriate support packages.
  • To work in partnership with all other care, health, and support agencies working in the Ashfield district.
  • To assist you to set up your home.
  • To continually review your needs, and offer our service until the aims of your support plan have been met.
