Ashfield Homes provides excellent services and we were awarded the top rating of 3 stars following inspection of our services by the Audit Commission in 2002 and then again in September 2005.

Customer service excellence


We have successfully gained the Customer Service Excellence (CSE) Standard, awarded by the Cabinet Office. The Government have developed CSE to replace Charter mark, the Standard offers public services a practical tool for driving forward customer-focused services within public organisations. CSE is based on 5 criterion: Customer Insight, The Culture of the Organisation, Information & Access, Delivery and Timeliness & Quality of Service

 

ISO9001


We have achieved this Quality Standard since 1996.  In 2003, the award was extended to cover all of our services.  This standard is assessed independently by the British Standards Institution every 6 months to ensure that we maintain high standards.


ISO14001


Since 2004, we have achieved the 14001 Standard.  This ensures that we are doing everything possible to minimise any adverse impact on the environment both locally and nationally.  For example, we have increased recycling and now purchase goods that are more environmentally friendly.

 

ISO 18001

 

In March 2010 we achieved registration to the health and safety management standard OHSAS 18001. This is an internationally accepted standard that sets out the requirements for establishing, implementing and operating an occupational health and safety management system. Some of the benefits of having a health and safety management system include safer working conditions for employees, reduced number of accidents, lower employee absence and increased productivity and provision of services to customers.
 

Positive about disabled people

 

Recognition given by the Employment Service to employers who have agreed to take action to meet five commitments regarding the employment, retention, training and career development of disabled employees.


Investors in people


Investors in People was awarded to Ashfield Homes in 2008 for the third time to show the Company is developing and training employees. The Standard ensures that employees are given appropriate training to deliver a first class service to customers.
